The Details, Belated
As one old friend has just pointed out, it is already past 11, so where are the promised details?
Very briefly, I am alive, having survived open surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm (well, one and a half, actually). So, I'm in recovery mode.
I will write more about that whole experience, especially the totally bizarre effects of anesthesia and pain killers (welcome to a whole new, non-existent world), later. But not necessarily by 11.
