Republicans and Their "Big Tent"?
Surely we all remember when the Republicans swore they wanted to create a "bigger tent" to allow greater access to more varieties of voters.
And there it was last week. The presidential debate for Republican power-seekers. Ten wealthy white guys. They needed a big tent, all right, but for the number, not the diversity, of their candidates.
Can anyone say, "Business as usual under the tiny tent the GOP has had for years, with the tent stakes nailed down tight to keep out the people of color, the women, the grassroots heroes. Contracted by Halliburton."
Sheesh.
